Well, this is my very first blog and I have no clue what I'm doing. It may take years before I get this up and running but if you will hang in there with me, I promise you will be inspired and entertained.
That's it for now.

Well Gyleen, let me be the first to welcome you to this wonderful blog land. I enjoy it so much. Have met and became friends with many quilters who are so talented and inspiring. We share stories, show pictures and admire each others work. We also get new ideas and share others. You will really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteGyleen, I agree with Kaye...blogging is a lot of fun....it's like a "show and share" with all your long distance friends and a nice way to journal....I'll be looking for new posts from you!
ReplyDeleteI've decided to hop on this wagon too! I'm a new blogger myself with only two entries thus far but am looking forward to this exchange of ideas & inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to following along & getting to know you ladies a bit more :-)
Welcome to BLOG-LAND! Come see mine!
ReplyDeleteOkay...I'm here, too! I've been blogging since November of 2008 and really enjoy it. Had blogged daily for the first 500 days or so....and now have backed off to a few times a week. It is a great network and a great way of journaling. So...welcome to Blogland. While I am not an expert, I have helped a couple of others get blogs started and taught them how to pre-schedule posts, put photos on the blog, etc. If you have a question I can answer, I'd be happy to help!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Gyleen,
ReplyDeleteI have been reading your newsletter for quite a while and I'm looking forward to following your blog. If I can do it, I'm certain you won't have any problem. Can't wait to see what you create and what's on your mind...Kathy

Blogs are a GREAT way to communicate, keep a diary, and just write. My son (now 23), has blogged since about 1998 (or whenever blogspot cam into being)... I love revisiting some of those blogs. Of course now facebook is more popular with the younger set... but why now use both! I use facebook to keep up with my relatives and close friends. Blog is a bit more public. Very helpful in many ways... you are now "followed"!
ReplyDeleteI need to est. a web-stite and start blogging.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy reading other blogs.
